Its active components are dextromethorphan and bupropion.Auvelity (dextromethorphan/bupropion) is a prescription drug that’s used to treat major depressive disorder (MDD). Auvelity comes as an oral tablet. Auvelity is used in adults to treat MDD, which is also called clinical depression, or depression.DEXTROMETHORPHAN; BUPROPION (dex troe meth OR fan; byoo PROE pee on) treats depression. It works by balancing substances in your brain that help regulate mood. It is a combination of dextromethorphan  an NDRI.Take this medication by mouth with a glass of water. Do not cut, crush, or chew this medication. Swallow the tablets whole.
